Summon Wind

Summon Sunlight

Learning:  A Kitter uses their magic to part the clouds above to let the sun shine down on them. First they must focus on pushing their magic upwards and out, creating invisible hands. Then they use these hands to clear an area of clear sky.

Usage: This is most useful during the rain, allowing  Kitters to engage in outdoor activities whenever they please. Some Kitters have even made a career out of it by clearing  the sky above festivals or sport fields.

Limitations: Only the clouds in the Kitter's immediate area are pushed away. It is also taxing to maintain the area for long periods of time. It's harder to keep up when it's raining, opposed to just cloudy and even more difficult during a storm.

Summon Rain

Learning:  Kitters can make a localized rain cloud above them by collecting their magic and pulling it down. Kitters have to focus their feelings of sadness or love to get it to start raining, but once the first drops fall, they just need to focus on keeping the rain coming, rather than their emotions. The Kitter can choose the size and height of the cloud, meaning they can have a large cloud way up in the sky, or a small cloud just above their head.

Usage: This is often used by  Kitters to water their plants, but it's also performed for an array of creative ways. Such as adding a dramatic flare to an event such as a funeral or play, or creating a romatic moment between two lovers. Some kitters use it to just have some fun in the rain on a hot day, while others use it to ruin others' days - to 'rain on their parades,' so to speak!

Limitations: It takes a lot of energy to form the cloud and a smaller amount to maintain it. This ability is very easy to use when it's humid and/or cloudy. But the drier the air is, and the clearer the sky, the difficulty increases. This will make it near-impossible to do in a desert, for example, as it's too dry and will require too much energy to keep up, resulting in severe exhaustion or even death.

Summon Snow

Learning: This is near identical to Summon Rain - except rather than focusing on sadness or love, the kitter must focus on joy or hate. The other main difference is that summoning snow takes more effort to start - however, once it starts, it drops a thin blanket of snow immediately.

Usage: This is mostly used to have fun cool down. Some artists might use it to make a snowy landscape to capture in a painting. While some Kitters might use this ability for other things, it's not particularly common.

Limitations: This ability has similar limitations to summoning rain. However, it's also affected by the heat. Cold makes it easier; heat makes it harder. This can sometimes work to the kitter's advantage, as it may be too dry to summon rain, but cold enough to summon snow.

Learning: The kitter creates a continuous gust of wind around them. It can range from a light breeze to a powerful gust, and the Kitter produces it by focusing on what makes them feel free. Once activated this ability needs a lot of focus to maintain for higher wind speeds. As a result, a lot of kitters intentionally drop, then raise their focus, creating sudden gusts and surprising their friends.

Usage: Mostly used for cooling off, this ability's uses can seem a bit limited. But a more creative kitters can do more with this. Some have been known to create dust and sand storms, or simply use it for artistic means. Sailors or navigators might also use it to give their boats a boost of speed, or a push in the right direction.

Limitations: The wind created isn't strong enough to knock kitters over or to cause damage on its own. It's also mentally and physically taxing if used for long periods or with strong winds. It takes a lot of practice to use this ability fluidly or to change the direction of the wind without starting over.
