Secrete Sludge

Learning: Plague affinity kitters have a disgusting ability of secreting a thick liquid from their eyes, ears, nose and mouth. This sludge is summoned by sheer evil will, drawing out the toxins already present in their bodies. This sludge is dangerous to everything it touches, killing plants, spreading filth and disease, worsening existing sickness, it is even known to have killed meeps upon ingestion. What makes this dangerous sludge worse is that it will not dissolve. Acid, water, potions-None have been able to truly destroy this liquid. If fully absorbed into soil the land will never bear life again. Extremely high temperatures that can only be created by a fire mage can evaporate the sludge but the vapor is just as dangerous, only it now has the risk of causing lung disease. After this forbidden magic is taught or learned the bodies of the beasts will begin to produce this fluid at nearly the same rate the body produces blood. This fluid will sometimes leak without control.

Usage: Throughout history plague meeps have been known to kill plants, especially holding a hatred for the soft hearted blooms creations. This sludge has been spread upon gardens and through forests to slaughter all forms of life. It has also been found in food for both pets and kitters alike, in an attempt to spread sickness even further. Cannot cause deadly diseases, but is well known to cause painful illness.

Limitations: Can cause eyes, nose or mouth to burn when plague affinity’s expel the fluid from their bodies.

Important note from Doctor Aberdals: .ludge can otherwise be purified by light affinity kitters who have learned the ability purify.

IF CONTACT IS MADE WITH THIS LIQUID SEEK OUT A LIGHT AFFINITY KITTER IMMEDIATELY.

Create Illness

Learning: Though their mere existence spreads disease and pain the plague affinity also have the ability to spread specific illnesses to whomever they want. In old times ‘teachers’ of dark plague magic would send their followers to target strangers, and with pure bad intentions simply will them to be sick. Their target will feel the effects almost immediately. The magic is hard to notice externally. Use of this magic is only visible due to the telltale glow of a plagues whiskers, and most often the face of evil. The eyes of a plague affinity kitter are said to hold the depths of death within them. If a plague is spotted avoid them at all costs, or risk succumbing to sickness and disease.

Usage: Those with this ability exist only to spread pain and disease. There is no practical use for an ability which is only used for destruction. Usage of this magic is incredibly frowned upon, and those affected are prone to fits of anger.

Limitations: Can only spread small colds, flu’s and other smaller diseases at a basic level. Illnesses cannot be given to the source kitter.

Wither

Learning: Pain and illness only seem to strengthen those that spread disease. Plagues have a line of magic to specifically cause themselves wounds and sickness. This is so that they can create more power. The magic within a plague kitter feeds off of suffering and sickness, even when its host is the center of such pains. Withering is a magic that is cast onto a plagues self, concentrated pure plague magic drawn from the whiskers and forced directly to the skin, where the skin will begin to fester over the course of a few days. Meeps unaware of their horrible powers have been known to accidentally give themselves wither wounds. Dark patches will spread where the magic is ‘applied.’ These patches have been named ‘wither’ as they make it appear as if the host is simply withering away. These patches can be applied anywhere on the body. After a month or so they will begin to fade, and will need to be re inflicted to continue to boost magic.

Usage: A telltale giveaway on a kitter being plague affinity. Only used to boost magic to cast harm upon others, some use it to fuel their sick masochism. Mages may apply this ability to other kitters, where it can only be healed with surgery or light magic kitters with the ability to purify.

Limitations: Will be agonizing at first, not providing any strength or power to the sick magic that courses in a plague affinity kitter.

Relate Illness

Learning: They can smell it on you. A plague always feels a pleasurable tingling in their whiskers when they are in the presence of the sick. They can decode an illness simply by ‘reading’ the body of the affected, pushing out their magic to ‘read’ the victims body. Learned within seconds this magic is noticeable even to the untrained, it feels violating, as if a stranger is feeling around your muscles, organs and mind. Not quite painful, but uncomfortable nonetheless, though the experience is usually brief with more trained plague affinities.

Usage: Those that have inflicted oftentimes like to ‘check up’ on their victims, to spy on what they gave them and how horrible it has evolved. This magic has also been used in hospitals to see who “doesn’t have it hard enough.” An infamous plague villain by the name of Raven was known for casting kitters who simply had colds or stomach flu’s to a life of terminal illness. With mage level plague ‘abilities’ she read kitters sicknesses and gave those with minimal sickness diseases such as cancer.

Limitations: Plague affinity kitters know what you are suffering through. They always know, there is no limitation to their ability to read your health, or how quickly they will destroy it.
